This division has global headquarters in Japan and development bases in Japan, Germany, China, United States and India for different technical fields.
In Powertrain area , High-end model development hub is in North America, Small Engine is in India, and Electrification area were proceeded development with global team together. Japan team is expected to plays the role of a acquire business with JOEM which has large market share globally by working together with team around world.
Job Description
2WP Powertrain (EV/ICE) Software System Designer
- You will be acting as a software system designer in the field of Powertrain Systems (Vehicle and Engine Control Units) for 2WP JOEMs like Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki
- You are going to help shape the future, through creating specifications based on customer requirements
- You will be in charge with clarifying, planning and tracking the implementation of the requirements until the delivery to the customer in the area of Software
- You will have the chance to work both in both fields of ICE and EV control unit business
Qualifications
- Language skills: Japanese and English
- You have professional experience in the area of SW development and testing, basic understanding of the control unit software and hardware
- You have experience with development methods and processes preferably in the mobility space (e.g.V-Cycle, ASPICE etc.);
- Experience with software development tools and programming
- Experience with debugging tools and simulation tools (e.g. CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA, DIAGRA, UDE, Trace32 and similar)
- Good level communication and negotiation skills (Internal/External)
- Knowledge with CAN communication will be a plus
